HMS WELLS.. My late father Harry Buckingham, served on HMS Wells
1943-1945 and I am interested in any details of the vessel and its service
history. My father spoke of the North Sea in terms of great respect and
sea sickness. He was a Telegraphist and was demobbed in 1946. Contact J
Laidlaw at joylaidlaw@broadave.freeserve.co.uk
I would urgently like to contact the V & W destroyer association
and I wonder if anyone can help with a contact telephone number. Any help
would be much appreciated. Contact Chris Hockaday at hocks@rncg.eurobell.co.uk
HMS TUSCAN... My Grandfather Alfred Oliver Langridge (Stoker 1st Class) served
with this ship from 1st January 1921 to 5th September 1921 he was actually on the
Blenheim, which was a Destroyer Support Ship.
Any information contact brian.langridge@tinyworld.co.uk
