HMS Blean  L.47 15th January 1942 Sunk on 11th December 1942. by U-443 west of Oran
HMS Bleasdale  L.50 23rd July 1941 Broken up  at Blyth 14th September 1956.
HMS Bolebroke  L.65 5th November 1941 Transferred to Greece 1942 and renamed Pindos  scrapped in Greece 1960 
HMS Border  L.67  3rd February 1942 Transferred to Greece 1942 and renamed Adrias.(i)  a constructive total loss after hitting a mine off Kalymnos 22nd October 1942
HMS Catterick  L.81 22nd November 1941 Transferred to Greece 1946 and renamed Hastings.  scrapped 1963
HMS Derwent  L.83 22nd August 1941 Broken up  at Penrhyn Febraury 1947
HMS Easton  L.09 11th July 1942 Broken up  at Rosyth January 1953.
HMS Eggesford  L.15  12th September 1942 Transferred to West  Germany 1958 and renamed Brommy.
HMS Eskdale  L.36 16th March 1942 Transferred to Norway 1942 and sunk 14th April 1943.
HMS Glaisdale  L.44 5th January 1942 Transferred to Norway 1946 and renamed Narvik.  scrapped December 1962
HMS Goathland  L.27 3rd February 1942 Constructive loss 24th July 1944. and scrapped at Troon February 1946
HMS Haldon   L.19 27th April 1942 Transferred to France 1942 and renamed La Combattante and was sunk on 23rd February 1945. by German Midget Submarine in the North Sea 
HMS Hatherleigh  L.53 18th December 1941 Transferred to Greece 1942 and renamed Kanaris. scrapped 1960
HMS Haydon  L.75 2nd April 1942 Broken up  at Dunston 18th May 1958.
HMS Holcombe  L.56  14th April 1942 Sunk on 12th December 1943.  by U-593 off Bougie
HMS Limbourne  L.57 12th May 1942 Sunk on 23rd October 1943. torpedoed by German Torpedo Boats / N. France 
HMS Melbreak  L.73 5th March 1942 Broken up  at Grays 22nd November 1956.
HMS Modbury  L.91 13th April 1942 Transferred to Greece 1942 and renamed Miaoulis.  scrapped 1960
HMS Penylan  L.89 17th March 1942 Sunk on 3rd December 1942. torpedoed by E boat in the Channel 
HMS Rockwood  L.39 13th June 1942 Damaged 11th November 1943 never repaired. finally scrapped at Gateshead August 1946
HMS Stevenstone L.16 23rd November 1942 Broken up  at Dunston 2nd September 1959.
HMS Talybont  L.18 3rd February 1942 Broken up at Charlestown 10th March 1961.
HMS Tantside  L.69 30th April 1942 Transferred to Greece 1946 and renamed Adrias. (ii)  scrapped 1964
HMS Wensleydale  L.86 20th June 1942 Involved in a collision November 1944 and never repaired. scrapped at Blyth 15th February 1946

HMS Wensleydale

HMS Wensleydale. Built by Yarrow and launched 20th June 1942. Involved in a collision with LST367. in November 1944, never repaired and scrapped Blyth 15th February 1946.

HMS DERWENT.. SYDNEY WILLIAM JACKSON..  I am trying to find information about my grandfather Petty Officer (Stoker) Sydney Jackson who later became Chief Petty Officer. He served on HMS Derwent during WW2 and received a mention in Despatched during his service with the ship. I would like to be able to access his service record as he served as a regular naval rating before, during and after the war, eventually finishing his working life in the boiler house at Devonport Dockyards. HMS AIREDALE

WILLIAM CHARLES HOLLAND.. My Uncle, William Holland, served in HMS Hood from 1936-1940 as AB, Leading Seaman and P.O Torpedoman. He then served in Airedale as P.O TGM from November 1941 to June 1942 when he wa killeed in action at the time of the sinking of Airedale. SEEKING INFORMATION  .  I am seeking information on this Hunt Class destroyer. I have located two ordinary seamen  memorials but little other information seems to be available. can anybody help me. contact Bruce Burns Paton at BruceBP@aol.com

SYDNEY RUTTER .   This is written on behalf of Sydney who is in his 90's. He was on HMS Airedale when it was bombed and put out of action, then sunk by our own ship. He still remembers some of his ship mates singing "Roll Out the Barrels" while waiting to be picked up. If anyone remembers him contact S James at stanley.james@virgin.net

RONALD FREDRICK (RONNIE) DOUG.  My father served on board HMS Wensleydale and was on board when she was accidentally rammed by LST367. He no longer has any photo's of the ship and he would also like to get hold of the full history of HMS Wensleydale.  He is now Eighty and he would like to contact any old shipmates who knew him.
