RCN Saguenay
RCN Sagueney was built by Thorneycroft and launched
11th July 1930. served in the West Indies until 1940 then escort duties in
the Atlantic. damaged in collision with the SS Azara off
Newfoundland and became a constructive loss ( November 1942) and used for
training until 1946 when sold for scrapping
Displacement: 1,350
tons Speed: 35 Knots, Compliment: 138.
Armament: Four 4.7-inch guns two 2 pounder AA Guns and
eight Torpedo Tubes
