Amiral Aube, French Armoured Cruiser. The Amiral Aube was built at Penhoet and laid down 1899 and launched may 1902 finally completed march 1904. saw service in World war One and finally taken off active in 1922 and subsequently broken up. The Gloire class armoured cruisers were a improved version of the Gueydon Class Armoured cruisers. with a different layout for the secondary armament 6.4 inch guns. Displacement: 9534 tons . Speed: 21.5 knots, Compliment: 615 crew Armament: Two 7.6 inch M1893-96 guns, Eight 6.4 -inch Quick Firing M1893 -96 guns. Six 3.9-inch Guns 18 3 pounder guns and Two 18-inch torpedo tubes.
