Italian Balilla Class Submarines. Photographs and history of the Italian submarines of the Balilla Class, launched 1927 - 1928. The class includes Balilla, Domenico Millelire, Antonio Sciesa and Enrico Toti. I Sottomarini di Classe di Balilla italiani. Crew:76 to 78 Speed: 16 knots surface and 7 Knots submerged. Armament: One 4.7 inch, Four 13.2mm guns. Six 21-inch Torpedo Tubes.
Balilla	20th February 1927		Laid Up 28th April 1941, and used as a floating oil depot under the name of GR.247
Domenico Millelire	19th September 1927		Laid Up 15th April 1941 and used as a floating oil depot under the name of GR.248
Antonio Sciesa	12th august 1928		Scuttled 12th November 1942
Enrico Toti	14th April 1928		Laid Up 1st April 1943
