Joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and by 1943 was a pilot in No.617 Sqn Royal Air Force. For Operation Chastise, the Dambusters Raid of 16th/17th May 1943, he was Captain and Pilot of Lancaster ED918 AJ-F 'F for Freddie' as it shot up trains and bombed the Sorpe Dam. He died in 2002. Born 20th August 1920. Joined the Canadian Air Force in 1941, and joined No.617 Sqn in 1943. Pilot and Captain of Lancaster AJ-F, he attacked the Sorpe Dam. Ken Brown died 23rd December 2002.
