imperial sub beluga info needed

i recently reaqquired an imperial russian navy dagger and some medals. i believe the dagger was given to the commander of the submarine beluga on april 28, 1914. there is an inscription on the crossguard that indicates this. i would like to know who the commander of the beluga was at that time, a photograph of him, any information about him and his carreer and any photos of him wearing his medals. any information would be greatly appreciated.

I will send you a link that will help you on this tomorrow. Messer, Ivan V. was in 1913.

O.K, all info sent via a PM. Let me know if you need any more help. DB.

this is my third attempt at thanking you for your help. you may or may not have received the other two. we have been away for the last two weeks and so we are just now getting back at this research. thank you for your advice and help. i will attempt to follow it tommorow when my mind is more clear. if you like, i will send photos of the dagger crossguard to you. if so, pls send your email address. thanks againfor your response and direction. g
