In case this has not been posted before of this mega model. http://www.popularmechanics.com/military/navy-ships/a15698/perfect-replica-aircraft-supercarrier/

Yes very impressive indeed , but it don't float :( Seriously though a great modeller :) I saw one at the norwich model boat open day that would match that , but can't remember which carrier [ Hermes ? or one of the Arks ]" Sandy" will remember it I'm sure , that two had Harriers and Seakings coming off the deck ...very impressive model beautifully displayed but also static Thanks for sharing that with us

Since his shop is in his garage. I hope his wife does not forget which pedal is for the brakes!

This site has a gallery of photos of the model: http://www.mypalmbeachpost.com/gallery/news/local/photos-jerry-shaw-builds-uss-forrestal-aircraft-ca/gCS7t/#7360988 And a rather nice vodeo about him and the ship: http://www.wpbf.com/news/palm-beach-gardens-man-builds-model-of-navy-supercarrier/33160388

Thank you Geoff glad you saw it to , it certainly was a masterpiece in my opinion
