British G,H,I class destroyers - Request

Posts 1 to 5

Hi, I am looking for drawings of hull section of British destroyers G or H or I-class for a scratch build in 1/200. Can you help me to buy plans? best Matthew

Are these any good? Derek http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/mar2862.html

You could also try Historic Photographs and Ships Plans at the National Maritime Museum. It should have the original Body Plan but it will not be in a metric scale. GK

I bought the plans of John Lambert and I am a little disappointed. I'm looking for something more detailed. I'm afraid that the plans of the National Maritime Museum are too expensive for me :( Maybe someone could retrieve me and send me e-mail, for example, part of the drawings of hull section. Best. P.S. Ramm, perhaps you would be better off searching closer to home.;):) I've located this prolific supplier of warship plans in Poland, and I've used their products before, satisfactory. Look for HMS HARDY in the 1:200 scale plans and I think you will have found just what you want. She was the "H" Class Leader. Good luck with your project and please do keep us updated with your progress. I agree with you, National Maritime Museum plans are ALWAYS uber-expensive and if you can afford their plans then you probably can afford to get somebody to build the model for you.!!!!!:D;) http://profilemorskie.home.pl/ Sandy.
