Registration Problems

Posts 1 to 3

I don't know who sorted my problem of re-registration and new password, but I should like to say thanks very much. After my email address was hacked last year, I changed my email address but did not think to notify until recently. When I did, I had considerable difficulty because the site could not seem to co-ordinate my new address and new password, so I sent up a cry for help and someone (one of the mod.s, perhaps?) sorted it anonymously so I could post next day. Again, thanks very much Edna

No problem Edna, There is a built in glitch with the vbulletin (forum) software which I cannot fix which means that when established users such as yourself alter their email address, they must be 'validated' by me once again as if they were signing up for the first time. If this happens to anyone reading this in future, please be patient and I will sort it for you as soon as I notice. I can also be contacted through the 'Forum Leaders' link at the foot of the forum home page.

kc - thanks for the explanation, and thanks once again for the very prompt response. Edna
