Google Reverse Image Search for Finding Illegal Image Copies

Posts 1 to 3

Following on from Terry's and Don's admin post about WNSF photos being used without permission on Flickr, members may not be aware of this but Google allows one to search for copies of a particular image being used on other webpages on the Internet. It can be useful if you suspect one of your images is being used without permission. The link below explains better than I could how to do this... Using Google's Reverse Image Search Peter

Thank you for that Peter. A useful tool. Sandy.

Many thanks for the information Peter. This must be the programme that my son uses to track illegal copies of his photographs. He tried the search with one of his Landscape photographs that he took and found that it was published on three or four other sites, albeit praising it, but without his permission. Jim ps Found an alternative add-on for use with Firefox called TinEye

Everything we obtain for this site is shown on the site, we do not have any more photos, crew lists or further information on any of the ships.
