HMS Begonia Laid Down : 1st May 1915 Launched : 26th August 1915 Completed : 16th October 1915 Type : Sloop Class : Azalea Builder : Barclay Curle Country : UK Pennants : Fate : Converted to Q-ship in 1916 renamed Dolcis, then Jessop then Q10. Sunk in collision 2nd October 1918. |
| Used as decoy ship Q10. HMS Begonia was reported as missing after sailing on September 3, 1917. Patrol area was between 5°W and 15°W, probably but not necessarily sunk by a U-boat that failed to return from patrol (U 106, UB 32, UC 21). |
