HMS Sheffield Laid Down : 15th January 1970 Launched : 10th June 1971 Completed : 16th February 1975 Type : Destroyer Class : Sheffield Builder : Vickers Country : UK Pennants : D80 Fate : Sunk 10th May 1982. |
| During the Falklands War she became the first Royal Navy ship lost in action since the Second World War. Twenty of her crew died in the action and the wreck remains a War Grave. |
