HMS Cobra Laid Down : Launched : 28th June 1899 Completed : Type : Destroyer Class : Builder : Armstrong Country : UK Pennants : Fate : Wrecked 19th September 1901. |
| Built by Armstrong Whitworth as a private venture, she was acquired by the Admiralty in May 1900. After completion of her trials off Newcastle, in September 1901, she was enroute to Portsmouth to be fitted with her guns when she was wrecked near Cromer. |
