HMS SEALION:
STAN WARNER: My father in law served on HMS
Sealion, during WW2 when she performed feats that seem to me just incredible.
I never did get all the stories form him before he died, as we moved away
to Canada. I would like to get information on the history of HMS Sealion
and its voyages for his grand children. If anyone can help please contact

JOHN HAMILTON MONAGHAN... I'm
writing to advise you of the death of Mr. John Hamilton Monaghan, former
torpedoman and distinguished member of the HMS Sealion crew. Mr. Monaghan
died last week (February 2004) in Scottsdale, Arizona at age 78 following
a protracted illness of Lung cancer. He
lived a life of distinguised service to his community that paralleled his
selfless service on SeaLion. He is survived by his Wife, Helen, son
Frank, and daughter, Maureen of Dearborn, Michigan, and daughters, Joan
Novelly, and Catherine H. Monaghan of Scottsdale and Irvine, Ca.
respectively. Services
for Mr. Monaghan will be conducted tomorrow Tuesday 2/24/04 1PM
at Saint Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Memorials may
be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, Az
85014 or the American Lung Cancer Association. Anyone
