Prinzregent Luitpold German battleship of the Kaiser Class
battleships of the German Navy. SMS Prinzregent
Luitpold was built at the Germania Dockyard at Keil. laid down
in October 1910. launched on the 17th February 1912
and commissioned into the German navy on the 19th august 1913.
These were the first German battleships with super imposed
turrets and turbines. Participated in the First major overseas
of a detached division to South America and south Africa between
1913 and 1914. Fought at the Battle of Jutland
Interned at Scapa Flow 25th November 1918 and scuttled at 1330
on 21 June 1919, capsizing and sank. Raised 9th July 1931
and scrapped at Rosyth in 1933.

PRINZ REGENT LUITPOLD Built at Germaniawerft at Kiel and launched on
the 17th February 1912, commissioned on the 19th August 1913. Served at The
Battle of Jutland, and after the armistice was interned at Scapa Flow where her
crew scuttled her on the 21st June 1919, She was raised on the 9th of July 1931.
