Russian Protected Cruiser Novik

The Novik was lightly built as an en;arged destroyer.  The Novik was a very fast ship of the time (25.6 knots), but was scuttled at Korsa Kovsk in Sakhalin after action with the light Japanese cruiser Tsushima on 20th August 1904.  Later she was salvaged and served in the Japanese navy as Suzuya.

Novik August 1900 Scuttled after taking hits from Tsushima on 20th August 1904. Raised by the Japanese Navy and served as Suzuya. Marked for scrapping in 1913.
