M Class Submarines of the Royal Navy.  History and photographs of the three M Class submarines commissioned into the Royal Navy from in  the late 1910's, M1, M2 and M3.  
M1 9th July 1917 Served with the 6th Flotilla until October 1918. Rammed and was sunk on 12th November 1925 by SS Vidar.
M2 19th October 1918 Became a seaplane carrier in 1928 but foundered on 26th January 1932.
M3 19th October 1918 Became a minelayer in 1927. Sold for scrapping in February 1932.
