Laperouse Class Unprotected Cruisers. Photographs and history of the French Laperouse Class Cruisers of the 1870's and 1880's including D'Estaing, Laperouse, Nielly and Primauguet. Wooden Hulled ships with Iron beams., these ships had Plough Bows with a forecastle. Displacement: 2363 tons, Speed 15 Knots Compliment: 264 Armament: Fifteen 5.5 inch M1870M guns, which were later replaced in Primauget with Quick Firing Conversions. also each ship had Eight 1 pounder revolvers. La Classe de Laperouse les Croiseurs sans défense. Les photographies et l'histoire des Croiseurs de Classe de Laperouse français des 1870 et les 1880 y compris D'Estaing, Laperouse, Nielly et Primauguet. Hulled en bois expédie avec les rayons en fer., ces bateaux avaient les Arcs de Charrue avec un poste d'équipage.
