Konigsberg Class Cruisers, Konigberg II, Karlsruhe II, Emden II, Nurnberg II, Light cruisers.  ordered under the 1913 naval building programme. All these ships were named after earlier Light Cruisers which had been sunk in the first two years of the war.  The second Emden also displayed a iron Cross in Honour of the Ship and crew of the first Emden. 

Displacement: 5440 tons,  and 7125 tons deep load.  Speed: 27.5 knots, Range 4850 miles at 12knots. Compliment: 475. Armament:  Eight 5.9 inch guns (15cm)  Two 3.45 inch AA guns (8.8cm)  Four  19.7 inch (50cm) Torpedo Tubes. plus 120 mines. 
Königsberg ii 18th December 1915 Ceded to France in 1920.
Karlsruhe ii 31st January 1916 Scuttled 21st June 1919.
Emden ii 1st February 1916 Broken up 16th December 1926.
Nürnberg ii 14th April 1916 Sunk 7th July 1922.
