27th April 1912, and commissioned on the 19th August 1913. Served
at the Battle of Jutland and after the War was interned at Scapa
Flow where her crew scuttled her on the 21st June 1919. Eventually
raised on the 31st July 1935 and scrapped at Rosyth.Scuttled on 21st June 1919. |

| KONIG built by Wilhelmshaven Dock Yard and launched on the 1st of March
1913 and commissioned on the 13th of August 1914, First of the German
battleships to have a main turret sited amidships. Was at the
Battle of Jutland
and sustained damage from one 15 -inch shell and nine 13.5
-inch shells. The worst damage came from a 13.5 inch shell which hit the
7-inch extreme edge of the belt which made a 7 feet whole, and the shell
traveled through 6.5 fete of coal and into a 5.5 -inch ammunition
room. The Konig also took part in Operation Albion in October off
the Russian Coast, she was engaged in a battle with her sister ship Kronprinz
against Russian Units in the Bay of Riga. After the armistice she was
interned at Scapa and was scuttled by her crew on the 21st June 1919,
Salvage rights were only granted in 1962. But it still remains at Scapa
Flow |

Grosser Kurfurst |
| GROSSER KURFURST. Built by A G Vulcan, at Hamburg and launched on the
5th of May 1913 being commissioned on the 30th July 1914. Took part in the
Battle of Jutland , being hit by five 15-inch shells, three 13.5
-inch shells. and on the 5th of November 1916 was torpedoes by the Royal
naval submarine J1 off the Danish Coast. In March 1917 Grosser Kurfurst
and Kronprinz collided in the Heligoland but both returned to service at the end
of April 1917. Took part in the Operation Albion but was mined off the Russian
coast. After the Armistice she was interned at Scapa and was scuttled by her
crew on the 21st June 1919, later raised in April 1938 and scrapped at Rosyth. |

commissioned on the 1st October 1914. Took part in the Battle of Jutland
and sustained some damage by shell fire. by three 15 inch shells,
1one 13.5 inch shell and one 12 - inch shell. After the armistice she was interned at
Scapa and scuttled by her crew on the 21st June 1919, Salvage rights were only
granted in 1962. but she remains at Scapa Flow |

| KRONPRINZ WILHELM (RENAMED FROM KRONPRINZ) Built at Germaniawerft at
Kiel and launched on the 21st February 1914, commissioned on the 8th November
1914. Kronprinz was torpedoed by J1 on the 5th November 1916 but only
little damage was caused. The Only Battleship of this class not to be involved
at the Battle of Jutland
. Kronprinz collided with Grosser Furfurst at Heligoland in March
1917, but returned to service in April 1917. renamed Kronprinz Wilhelm by order
of the Kaiser on the 27th January 1918. Arrived at Scapa Flow to be
interned on 6th December 1918 but scuttled by her crew on the 21st June 1919
Salvage rights were granted in 1962 but still remains at Scapa Flow. |
