HMS IRON DUKE 12TH OCTOBER 1912 USED AS A GUNNERY TRAINING SHIP IN 1931. SHE WAS THEN SOLD FOR SCRAP 2ND MARCH 1946.
HMS MARLBOROUGH 24TH OCTOBER 1912 SOLD FOR SCRAP 27TH JUNE 1932
HMS BENBOW 12TH NOVEMBER 1913 SOLD FOR SCRAP in march 1931.
HMS EMPEROR OF INDIA 27TH NOVEMBER 1913 sunk as a target ship 1st september 1931.

The fourth ship of the class originally called Dehli was renamed Emperor of India 1 month before launch. All four ships were present at the Battle of Jutland. although HMS Marlborough was torpedoed and struggled to port under tow. HMS Benbow was scrapped in March 1931 along with HMS Marlborough and HMS Emperor of India. HMS Iron Duke was converted to a gunnery training ship in 1931-32 but was badly damaged in a German air raid and was run aground on 17th October 1939. Her guns were transferred to coastal artillery batteries. After basic repairs HMS Iron Duke then became a stationary depot ship until she was scrapped in 1946.

HMS Iron Duke  was built at Cammell Laird in Portsmouth and Launched on the 12th October 1912. After 1931 she became a Gunnery Training Ship and Base Ship for the Home Fleet between 1939 and 1945. She was scrapped at Faslane in Scotland 19th August 1946.

Compliment 589. Armament 6 13.5 inch Guns (3 x 2 ) and 12 6-inch Guns . Machinery 4-shaft Turbines, S.H.P 31,000 giving a top speed of 21.25 knots this was reduced to 18 knots with mutilated boiler power. . Displacement 21,250 tons.
