My Uncle, Daniel Mc Nally, of Cork City Co Cork, served on HMS Neptune and also died while on board when the Neptune hit the minefield. If anyone remembers him contact me at p.mcmanus@ntlworld.com
I'm trying to get Nixie Taverner's email, daughter of the Captain. She is writing a book on the ship. Does anyone have her address? Harry & Clifford Waterworth, my two uncles (pictured left) were among the 569 dead on HMS Neptune. Contact me at stublick@btinternet.com

My dad was serving on Neptune days before she sailed into the minefield near Italy. He still carries the scars of losing all his shipmates.  photographs and stories are all he has left, he will never forget. If you have any information about the ship and its crew, God rest their souls, please email me and I will try to comfort an old sea dog. Leslie Williams mail@home10367.fsnet.co.uk
