MUNRO.. Ordinary Seaman James Munro, age 18, son of
Thomas and Mary A Munro of Stirling, Scotland was lost with Indefatigable
and all but two of her crew at Jutland in 1916. He is commemorated
on the Roll of Honour in the Memorial chapel at Holy Trinity Episcopal
Church, Dumbarton Road, Stirling. contact

Please
find attached photos of a codd patent soft drink bottle which I think was
issued to the HMS Indefatigable when she was being fitted out in Malta in
1915. I
dived the bottle at a picnic area in Sydney where the troops from the Ist
World War came for repatriation and rest. As
far as I know these bottle have been found nowhere else in Australia.
Could you advise me if
