Captain landing from Galatea.

Card has names on reverse : Capt P Wilkins (possibly Tomkins?), Com C Peel, 1st Lieut G R L Edwards.   The liferings say Galatea, Liverpool.  Looking for confirmation that we have the correct identification here.  There was a tender at Liverpool of that name, at around this time, but there is weaponry on the ship shown here.
