MESSAGES

ERNEST JOHN DAWES: (21/3/1911  to 23/12/02) My late Father served on HMS Benbow between 1925 to 1929 would he have been one of the last surviving crew from her.  If you can help please contact Richard Dawes at r.dawes@unl.ac.uk

My late great uncle George Kitchener served on the Benbow at the Battle of Jutland. He would never say much of the events and his family at the time say that he was a much changed man after the battle, as well as having his hearing damaged. Any information from anyone about him would be much appreciated. Contact Mark at kama@hicliffe.fsnet.co.uk
