WILLIAM SIMPSON
I work as a carer
at the William Simpson Home, Plean near Stirling. There is a pub in Plean
known as the "Billy". My Grandfather said it was called this
after a ship the Billy Ruffian. I have now found this to be true.
The home where I work is a former sailor's home, which was started by
William's dad in memory of him. My question to you, is there any way to
find out if William Simpson served aboard HMS Bellerophon.

JOSEPH O'CONNOR. I am a nephew of the late Joseph O'Connor who
served on HMS Bellerophon as a radio / Communications Person. I think
during the Battle of Jutland. He survived that but as a child I remember
him telling me some harrowing stories about the dreadful fighting there. I
would like some help getting details of his naval service and confirmation
of his service on the Bellerophon. he died about 30 years ago. but he had
an adopted daughter Delia Hatch who married a US Naval person. I would
love to get back in touch with Delia and her family. if you can help.
