USS FRANK KNOX
I
served aboard the Knox DD742 from July 1945 until November 15, 1947 as a
Quartermaster/Signalman Third Class. Our Captain for the most part
was Cmdr Bertholf and our execetive officer was lt cmdr Koelsch.
Our duty was usually West Coast of usa to East coast of China. Our
ports of call were Pearl Harbor, Manila P.I., Tokyo, Hong Kong,
Shanghai, Tacloban Leyte, Tsingtao, Formosa
