Welcome to our Crew Database Community Project.

We are always adding new details to our database of known crew, and we would love to add any record of crew that you know about.

Download the template spreadsheets below and follow the very clear instructions in the word document - follow this and you can't go wrong. I've also added an example of one of the templates filled out - with some crew of HMS Hostile. Once you have filled out a template, see the bold paragraph at the end of this post.

Our ultimate aim is to list as many (historic - not current) details of crew as we can. A search engine will also be implemented in due course.

For now, you can check if we have crew listed for a ship by searching in our ship database and going to the page for that ship. The link is here.

An example of how the details look after they have been added has been created from the HMS Hostile example attached. This can be found by searching for Hostile on that link, or just go here.

Post any filled out spreadsheets in a new post here and I'll deal with the data from here. Remember to give a crew member's name in your post if you are uploading a 'servicetemplate'. Also remember to save your file with a suitable filename - don't use the same name I've used!
