Default Intro

Hello all, I'm Eddie Calder and my father served on several ships, mainly minesweepers, during the WW2. He is 92 years old and lives in Calgary, Canada. He survived the sinking of HMT St Cathan on 11th April 1942, near South Carolina while protecting the coastal waters there. It would thrill him if any member has information or even photos of the crew, many of which he still remembers, 75 years on.

Thanks in advance for any help in this quest.

Hello Eddie and a warm welcome to the Forums. If you enter the word CATHAN into the search facility you will find several posts which refer to St Cathan. Good luck with your search, I hope someone will come up with a photo.

Jim
