RFA Gray Ranger, HMS Britomart, and little friends!. Gray Ranger was unfortunately lost from Convoy QP14 sept 1942 sunk by U435, there were 33 survivors from a crew of 39. The Minesweeper Britomart was also lost. She was sunk in a 'Friendly Fire' incident in 1944

I think there is an account of the incident on WNSF somewhere. I have painted her in two other paintings, one of which went to the son of one of her crew.
