Post Crew Lists

Here are a few links to some of the existing crew lists I know we have on the site. I know this is what a lot of people are looking for when they are searching for relatives. Hopefully they will be of some use. I have linked to the uk site for now, as the search function on worldnavalships.com still has some catching up to do with google. At the time of writing, these pages exist on both sites.

HMS Durban, 1931 - 1933

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/hms_durban.htm

HMS Dauntless 1930 - 1932

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/hms_dauntless.htm

HMS Suffolk 1933 - 1935

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/hms_suffolk.htm

HMS Emerald 1925 - 1928

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/e_class.htm

HMS Sussex 1934 - 1937

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/hms_sussex.htm

HMS Enterprise 1926 - 1928

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.u...enterprise.htm

I'm sure there are more. I'll post them as and when I find them.

Post Re: Crew Lists

Ok, so this is not strictly a crew list, but it should probably be given a link to from here.

The 1908 Navy List

http://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/navy_lists.htm

On the page you will find links to lists of all officers on board ships correct to 18th December 1907. The list is huge so is broken down into sections by the initial of the ships's name on several pages, all of which can still take a little time to load. Hopefully it will be of use, and we hope to supply more like it in future.

Hi Guys. I am new to this site so please bear with me. I am looking for a distant Relative called ROGER GEORGE BECK. He was in the Royal Navy from about 1960 ish. I do not know when he finished but, I was told that he served on the ARK ROYAL. (The 4th one I presume ). ROGER was brought up in the Sunderland area. ANY info on Roger would be most welcome.

Whilst not strictly a Crew List, the Ship's Company of HMS NEW ZEALAND, from the Crossing the Line Ceremony booklet for 8 May 1919 is published on my website at :

http://www.pbenyon.plus.com/NZ_Xross_Line/P15.html

with thanks to Bev Edmonds - sorry about the graphics, but that was the best we could do at the time it was put on-line with the line speeds and technology that was available to us then.

As another newcomer, I'd appreciate anything anyone can tell me about HMS Trinidad, especially if there are any surviving crew members. Information is for personal research and for possible newspaper feature article.

The 1908 Navy list is great. Thanks for the link. My ancestor was aboard the High flyer, Vivid and Liviathan during 1908, off to check them out..

My father arthur roxburgh served on HMS Wilton as a telegrapher,
17/06/1942 to 31/03/1943 and 01/07/1943 to 11/01/1945*. In between
HMS Hannibal. Any information concerning theatres served and crew lists
would be appreciated.

Ok,

I'm going to close this thread as it is turning into what I feared it would become - a list of "have you got this crew list" " have you got that crew list".

As it says on almost every page on both our sites - everything we have is put on the site, if we do get any more information, crew lists or photos, we will put them on as soon as possible.

I don't mean to offend those who have posted on this thread, but it is meant to be a list of links to crew lists we have or the actual lists themselves, space permitting. If anyone is reading this with a crew list they wish to add, just add a new thread in the relevant section of the forum and I'll move it here or link to it from here.
