Default Portuguese Naval Vessel

The following photograph was taken by me at the entrance to the River Tagus at Lisbon. The Captain of our ship (Discovery) referred to her as a "Portuguese Navy Support Vessel", but to me she looks like what, in the RAN, would have been called a General Purpose Vessel (GPV), though I have to say she looks more like a tug.

Ian

A521 is the 'Schultz Xavier' and on the site I looked at, she is described as a 'Logistics Tug'.
