Default New to the forum

Just joined here, a great forum. Just made my first post as a Ganges boy.
I was 3rd generation RN, just now looking into my father's and grandfathers times in the RN.
I know my father was on HMS Combatant and Dido in 45 and 46
My Grandfather spent 22 years in the RN, just waiting for his documents to arrive so I can see where he served. I'm wondering if he to was a Ganges boy.

Good to be here

Welcome to the forum Seaking. Another Ganges boy to swell the ranks!
We look forward to hearing about your father and grandfather.

Bob.

Welcome Seaking

Good to see that another Ganges Boy has joined. We need all the help that we can get to keep those Raleigh people in line.

When you get your Grandfathers papers. It would be great if you could post the Doc. Many of us are very interested in service Docs.

Dave

Sure thing, I have some papers coming from an Aunt in Spain, not to sure what I'm getting but I'm really hoping for his service number, without that you can't get very much.
