HMS Bulwark left Sunderland at approx 0930 today heading south, it's just passing Hastings at 1715!!!. That is a fair old rate of revolutions being rung on.
Perhaps the T45's should have the same system...

Jack.

Thanks Jack. I will be surprised if she stayed anchored off Sunderland after the air show finished around 5pm Sunday. I would have thought she would have up sticks and pushed off. Here are a few photos taken on Friday night of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows.

This years Air Show starts tonight which, weather wise, looks to be the best day
If it stays fair I will pop down and get some photos. The Red Arrows, BBMF and the Eurofighter will be amongst those putting on a display tonight.

Great photographs Jim.

There's a Red Arrow missing from the formations displayed in #5; #6 & #7 methinks.

Thanks Harry, I thought they looked a bit lop-sided when they arrived.

Last day for the airshow today. Just had a walk along the sea front and sun is shining, slight breeze and all looks well for the show. Crowds starting to gather and pick their vantage points. Unfortunately, I won't be at todays event.
Sorted a few more pics of the Red Arrows display off Friday night.

BBMF = Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Red Arrows = Crimson Crabs.
