Hello All,
I lived in Blackheath ( South London ) in the 1950's, was a Sea Cadet at Greenwich RN College in very early 1960's. Joined RN in 1964 as an Artificer ( Radio Electrical )Left as a CPO in 1977. Last five years member of Fisgard Association, which is an association for all ex HMS Fisgard ( and later Fisgard squadron in Raleigh ) trained Artificers. I am currently Editor of our newsletter, which features a wide range of RN history and individuals experiences.
Whilst a Sea Cadet my commanding officer was an RNR Officer Arnold Hague, who I have only recently found out was a noted Naval historian, how could I not know that?
Enough about me!
