Default Service Record: Fred Ellingford - HMS Savage

Hi,
Would any member know where I can find a crew list of HMS Savage? I am trying to find out a bit more of my unknown Uncle. Photographs attached.
Regards

Hi, Fred Ellingford was my father who sadly died a few years ago. My Mum, Pat Ellingford, is still alive and indeed recently received the Arctic Star on behalf of my Dad (awarded rather late by the UK government!!). If he was your uncle then you must be my cousin: what was your mother's name - my Dad had several stepsisters as well as his brothers George, John and Albert - John emigrated to Australia many years ago and settled in Adelaide. I used to write to his son, my cousin Steven, when I was a teenager - and I think he joined the Australian Navy. Any information you have would be most gratefully welcomed.
Cheers
Nicki Chisholm (née Nicolette Louise Ellingford)

Hi Nicki....

One of the step-brothers is still alive and kicking - Terry Ellingford.

I found an old letter in Mum's effects and it was a letter from George Ellingford not long before he was killed at Arnhem in WW2.

Luckily I was able to track down Terry and I suddenly found I had a heap more relatives!

I have sent you an email address.

Regards
