Default Austro Hungarian Riverine Monitor of 1916

Taken from archive plans found on the Dreadnought Project website. Do not believe it was ever actually built. Modelled in MOI 3D and rendered in SimLab Composer

That's a nice clean and realistic looking model. I am not familiar with either of the software products you are using but they give nice results. Are you going to texture your model?

Best ... Marsden

Thanks Marsden.

Means very much coming from you sir considering your reputation in the CG ship world

This software MOI 3D was designed by Michael Gibson who as I understand it also designed Rhino 3D sometime ago.

So it is a NURBS modeller which I have exported into a renderer Sim Lab Composer just to light it up a bit better.

Making it look more real and less model-like is on the menu.

Currently working on a WWII Soviet monitor, the Udarny.

Monitor hulls and superstructures are simpler in form than German battlecruisers as I am still just practicing.
