What I ment was that if there was one inch of water on the deck that was free to move around when the ship listed slightly the water would run to one...

The drain holes in the deck (if that is what they are) reminds me that one inch of water on a hanger deck can capsize the ship.

These days it's commendable that they can make enough water for 700 people on a 9 month deployment anywhere on the globe.
It reminds me of the Eagle when on a 2 year deployment all over the world and...

Over the years we have debated the beards/moustache issue and I think the consensus was that only reservists were allowed to wear moustaches only.
