Re: Argentine Submarine San Juan

Isn't SOSUS for North Atlantic areas? Also thought it was dormant now? I doubt there's down off Argentina for such tracking.

Re: RN Frigates: Type 31

It will be interesting, I mean how often has a "a UK combat system, and a UK build and a supply chain with high UK content." won new build orders recently in the Frigate market? As I've said in the...

Re: RN Frigates: Duke Class - Type 23

Re: Irish Warships

The Irish budget happened today and the Eithne replacement process will start in 2018, given normal process I'd say we're still a couple of years away from something being picked but it will be...

Just an update on the Med operations, Niamh is due to sail on the 6th of October to replace WBY, and will be operating under the "Sophia" mission rather than the "Pontus" operation that the Navy has...

Re: RN Frigates: Type 31

With the suggestion that H&W could also build modules for the bid, how many yards realistically are we talking about the work being done at?

Re: RN Frigates: Type 26

Love how Belfast will be renamed Belfast 1938 to avoid confusion... Cause it's likely to be 90plus years between them by the stage she commissions...

Re: RN Frigates: Type 31
