When I was on her (after conversion) our mess was in the Angle deck and at times you could feel the thump as the waves hit the underside!

I think you'll find he didn't!
One of my personal favourites 'Chilliwack' also in a spot of Roughers.
She lives above my mantlepiece. (Not often you see my paintings framed!)

Never had to use a bucket in the RN Mike, of course I was on Carriers ( not to say they don't jump about a bit at times). The Merchant Navy was a different story. My first day at sea I was working in...

Thanks David, I tried to ge better reference photos but a lot of it was guess work.
I even went into Google street view, but I think things have changes too much for what I wanted.
