Hello,

I am Michelle and joined this forum after finding my husbands G Uncle was in the Royal Navy..John Thomas Shephard began his continous sevice on 16 Feb 1906. I have a copy of his service record which lists 9 differnt ships that he served on (some of them more than once) as well as 2 training ships. The Claedonia and the Ganges. Unfortunately he died whilst on duty in Feb of 1914 at the young age of 26.

I'm hoping you can give me an insight to understanding his service record better.

I will name the ships on which he served when I find the appropriate posting place. lol

Hallo Michelle, You can just type the ships and dates in and post. I am sure we can answer some of the queries that you enter.
