French Commanding Officers

Hello

Does anyone have a source of French Commanding Officers 1939 - 1945 listing their Christian names? I have the LISTE NAVAL FRANCAIS which gives the initials, date of birth, and year entered service with the respective family names, but no given names.

Beg to defer, but these are crew lists and certainly not commanders of French Naval ships. Indeed only one probably is, or was marked "CdeC" = "Capitain de Corvette" which corresponds to the army rank of Ltn.Colonel.

LdeV = lieutenant de vaisseau correpsonds to army rank of Captain.

Smtre = second maitre

QMtre = Quartier maitre (Corporal).
