Russian Large Landing Ship "Yamal"

It would seem that for the Commemoration of the Battle of Navarino (1827) at Pylos in the S/W Peloponnese region of Greece in October the Russian contingent will be the Large landing ship "Yamal"

Impressive but rather antique tub, the ropucha 2 having been rearmed with à 76 and the rear twin 57 replaced by fast firing 30mm gatling types

Antique or not - It was good to see that at least the Russians do have a ship to spare to help commemorate the occasion :D
