Hi there,

I think all posts related to HDM Navy have to ve accumulated in one thread. Otherwise we can open a lots of those, which are very hard to locate in the body of this great Forum.

Yesterday I managed to find one former officer, who was a friend of my Dad. They were mates in late 50-s. He shared with me some pics. Using old naval catalogues I recognised F339 HDMS "Niels Ebbesen" (ex British HMS "Annan"). The picture was made in 1959-61, not later.
Suppose, this photo is of interest.

Danish Ships seem pretty scarce here. Here are 4 of HDMS Absalon (L16). HDMS ABSALON and her sister ship HDMS Esbern Snare (L17) are the biggest ships ever to serve in the Royal Danish Navy . I took these during her visit to Scotland on a JMC when I was attached to JMOTS and visiting the vessel to pick up documents for Faslane
