Brave men undertake a desperate mission and were slaughtered like cattle for their actions.
The Japanese thought it an honourable death to die a hero. Who in this instance would win this arguement??

I took a shot of the commemorative plate when I was stationed in Sembawang in 2003. It's outside the entrance to the Kranji War Graves.
