Here is a recent tour of the Estonian Navy Base organized by the British Military Attaché, (on our left). The tour was centred around the minesweeper Admiral Cowan, ex Royal Navy of course. We were shown around the ship by her Commander Lt-Cdr. Janek Naur who explained the still never ending task they have of clearing mines from WW1 & WW2 and the methods they use. When I asked if he found the mines were German or Russian, would that country foot the bill, he just said, I wish!
