Darren at Resin Shipyard is an awesome guy, and he carries the majority of Canadian subjects in a one stop shop thanks to the connection with Iron Shipwright.
-WEM has stuff the with some work can be converted to RCN in 1/350 and 1/700.
-Airfix Naval Destroyers will give you 3 classes (Town, River, and Tribal) with a bit of work. The also do the 1/400 Town class 4 stackers which are convertable
-Sealsmodels will give RCN River Class Frigates (2)
-the Trumpeter Huron is not worth the money though. It's a nice kit but not even close to accurate for RCN Tribals
With good photoetch and aftermarket parts you have a range of choices limited only by imagination and pocketbook.

HMS. Montgomery [former USS Wicks, lend lease town class destroyer] 1942 Loaned to Canadian navy. Airfix kit can be converted to Canadian navy. Further brass etched parts to assist in conversion can be obtained from White Ensign kits U.K. 4 0f this class were used by the Canadian navy.

Regarding Tribal Class Destroyers, if you are up for a challenge and have approx 300 UK pounds to spare, you can purchase a 1/92 HMS Cossack kit from Deans Marine of Peterborough, UK. They do have a website worth visiting.
Kind regards
Alan
ps I am speaking purely from experience and have no links with the company. See attachments of my HMS Somali.

I have just noticed that Resin Shipyards has released photographs of its new, as built, HMCS St. Laurent, DDE 205. This model can be seen at the Resin Shipyards website. The models can be purchased now. This ship was the Canadian equivalent of the RN Whitby Class ASW frigates of the 1950s.
There will be a model in 2012 of HMCS Fraser, a St. Laurent Class ship, modified to carry the SeaKing helicopter and variable depth sonar.
