By way of introduction as a new member and with the hope anyone may remember me, I served in the following warships in the late 50's and 60's.
HMS Corunna 56/57. HMS Lennox 57/58. HMS Barnard 58/59. HMS Manxman 1960. HMS Diamond 1960/63. I then worked on the building of HMS Euralyas in 1963/65 at Scotts Shipyard, Greenock. I have continued a career in diving ever since and up to the present day. At the moment diving on potentially the oldest shipwreck in the world.

Welcome to our group Ron.
Now tell us about this oldest shipwreck mate.

Our diving team located a 17th Century Dutch Merchantman/Barbary Pirate vessel in 1995 and raised very valuable species from it, whilst extending our search and survey we located some Bronze Age weapons, ballast stones, and gold artifacts. One item has proved a sea trading link with the island of Sicily and Europe over 3500 years ago, dating has to be confirmed but it has the potential to be the oldest in the world. Watch this space.
