Hi Willie, we will help where we can. HMS Impregnable used to be a training hulk on the Hamoaze near Devonport. Are you sure of this one?
HMS Kipanga was a Naval air station out in Kenya and HMS Drake was the name of the Royal Naval Barracks at Devonport.
Having said that here are the pictures of HMS Adamant Depot ship and the carrier HMS Atheling.
Regards Bob.
Impregnable was a training establishment at St Budeaux, Plymouth. According to my source it was open from 1935 to about 1947, so this would be the one for dates 1941 - 1942.
